I’d like to personally welcome you to Paway, the first GPS-based social app for people who love to walk their dogs.
I’ve made it my mission to improve the lives of pets and their owners using technology. Dogs, in particular, have always been a part of my life. I was paid to walk my first dog when I was ten years old. Growing up in Los Angeles, we always had two dogs who were members of the family, birthday celebrations, and everything.
From my Santa Monica-based dog walking company, SurfDogLA, to co-founding the “Uber for dog walkers” Wag! Walking as the startup’s first CEO, my passion for pups found a home in LA’s Silicon Beach. From humble beginnings, we turned Wag! into the largest dog walking company in the world and one of the fastest-growing pet companies of all time. We also donated over 10 million meals to shelter dogs.
Turns out, I was just getting started. The world of pet parents was still missing something that I had been thinking about for years. I wanted to create a better tool for keeping your dog healthy, that could be used around the world for free. So I formed an expert team and started Paway -- the culmination of all my experiences designed from the ground up to make an impact for pet parents and pet pros.
Simply put, Paway is a social network just for dogs. We’re adding discovery and engagement to all dog walks and turning them into safe and fun experiences. We help navigate neighborhoods, provide data on which dogs are friendly or aggressive, show you where to find amenities, and how to avoid hazards. You can also keep track of your dog's health by setting your daily walk goal and connect with others in your neighborhood. Paway helps ensure a safe environment for your dog.
